This session will explore last evidence in implementing effective infection control procedures in healthcare settings. The presentations will cover practical recommendations on how to select and prioritize interventions of infection control based on cost-effectiveness data and on local epidemiology and economic resources. The speakers will present a translational approach to connect evidence from studies in screening and contact isolation in different epidemiological scenarios. The session will also introduce the audience to innovative electronic tools to benchmark infection control procedures for different purposes.
